Budding Author?

If as the title of this blog entry suggests, you are a budding author but are perhaps having trouble getting yourself published, then perhaps you should try out Lulu.

The other day I purchased "Atheists Are Revolting", I didn't realise at the time that this book was and still is unpublished. The author is currently looking for a publishing deal. Lulu gives him the chance to get the book out there and selling. This seems like a great idea.

All sorts of people have ideas for books, and these are filtered by the large publishing companies. Now of course they do this for quality reasons but given the way that sites like Lulu and Amazon for example, allow users to provide feedback for other potential customers, this should act to give a degree of quality. Like anything though, "You pay your money. You take your chances".
